As founding president of Asia Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (APACS) it is with great pleasure to invite you to the 8th APACS World Congress of Cosmetic Surgery. APACS together with the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the Asian Academy of Anti-Aging & Aesthetic Medicine Taiwan will be sponsoring this special convention on September 4-6, 2009 at the Taipei World Trade Center, Taipei, Taiwan.
Honoring the work of APACS’ late president, Tetsuo Shu, M.D., this Congress continues to uphold APACS’ thrust of creating opportunities to learn, discuss and demonstrate present techniques as well as the latest and most advanced developments and trends in the field of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Surgery and Anti-Aging Medicine. Well-known speakers who have demonstrated excellence in their respective fields have been gathered to share their experiences and expertise and demonstrate their innovative techniques in this exciting event.

It is my great honor to announce that “The 8th APACS World Congress of Cosmetic Surgery” sponsored by Asia Pacific Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Int’l Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and Asian Academy of Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine Taiwan, to be held at Taipei World Trade Center, Taipei, Taiwan on August 2009.

As the capital of Taiwan, Taipei has been at the centre of rapid economic development in the country and has now become one of the global cities in the production of high technology and its components. This is part of the so called “Taiwan miracle” which has seen dramatic growth in the city following foreign direct investment in the 1960s.

We will invite outstanding doctors to share their valuable experiences, and this congress provides the opportunity to network with other members of the international cosmetic surgery community, and the chance to meet and discuss face to face with leading surgeons. In addition to the lectures, the congress hosts exhibition, with the newest products and services available to prevent ageing, disease and improve longevity.
